Kohima Hill Station: Beauty of Nature

   Perhaps nature beautified itself to the unsurpassed beauty of Kohima Hill station. Yes, like the Paradise has landed in Kohima Hill station located in Nagaland.  

   Located at an altitude of 1444 meters above sea level, Kohima Hill Station gives every opportunity of blooming with nature. All-round mountain ranges make the crown of a peak earth Flavored flora, floral valleys, velvet grass beds etc. many make this area special. Kohima is the capital of Nagaland. So beautifulness is also wonderful. Kohima is in fact a tribal belt area. Kohima is covered with ostriches of tribal culture. Being at the top of the ocean floor, Kohima is buzzing with the movement of the clouds.

  The multi-colored culture of Kohima's tribals attracts tourists. Kohima Hill Station and its surroundings have a long range of beautiful and attractive sites. These are especially visible in the Kohima Museum, Memorial Site, Emporium, Naga Heritage Complex, Kohima Village, Dajukow Valley, Jappu Peak, Tseeminu, Khonoma Village etc. Koohima is known to be known specifically for cultural festivals. Kohima Bahadur and courageous Angami Naga tribes are known as the land.

   Monument: Memorial In fact, the memory of World War II remains. In World War II, the Japanese attacked Nagaland. A large number of officers were killed in this attack. The soldiers killed in the attack were buried in Garrison Hill. Here are 1421 samadhias dedicated to the soldiers. This tombstone is seen as a monument.   Koohima Church: Kohima Church is recognized as Asia's largest church. Particularly that the church is located in a very wide area. 

   The grandeur of the church- the identity of Goddess Kohima has become known. More than 3,000 people can sit together in this church. Spread about 25,000 square feet. The beautiful sounds of Bethlehem olive wood can be seen in the church. The nad is a dimension of the beauty of the church. Here prayer is realized after peace.    Museum: The museum has a grand display of art and culture in particular. Its history is quite interesting. The Nagaland government constructed the museum on the hillside. In the museum, there is a demonstration of goods belonging to Nagaland culture and history. These are specially displayed in precious gems, elephant teeth, beads made of beads, wooden instruments and other artifacts made of wood and buffalo horns. 

  There is also a Kaladurga in the museum for art lovers. In this, paintings created and composed by local artists are displayed.   Naga Heritage Complex: Naga Heritage Complex is a miniature reflection of Nagaland. It has tried to create an entertainer with the image of World War II. Much like the museum is the beauty of this heritage. Here the Hornabil festival is celebrated every year.

    Kohima village: Kohima village is considered to be the most densely populated area in Asia. This village was founded by a person named Vanuo. Particularly this village is considered to be a confluence of past and future.  
  The saying is that in ancient times there were seven lakes and seven gates. Now except for a door, everything has disappeared. This door is very beautiful. This gate is decorated with buffalo horn-shaped stones. This craft enhances its beauty. This is one of the main attractions of the village. This village is known for its abundance of natural beauty, culture, handicrafts etc.

   Dzukou Valley and Jappu Peak: Dajukow Valley and Jaffu Peak are the main attractions of the Kohima Hill Station. Located approximately 30 kilometers south of Kohima, the Dzukou Valley is very beautiful. Its beauty attracts tourists. 

   Various species of flowers are available in this valley. The valley always remains fragrance. Along with the Dzukou Valley, tourists can see the spectacular view of the Jaffu peak.   Pfutzero: Puffusero is known as the highest and coldest city. This is called the backbone of Kohima Hill station. Located 70 kilometers away from Kohima, the temperature of this village goes below zero in winter. Located at an altitude of about 2133 meters above sea level, this village maintains a special reputation for apple cultivation.


  All necessary resources are available for the visit of Kohima Hill Station. The nearest airport is Dimapur. The nearest railway station is also in Dimapur. The distance from Dimapur to Kohima Hill station is about 74 kilometers. Tourists can also travel to Kohima by road.
